Chicken Bihari Tikka Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg Chicken
  • 4 tbsp yogurt
  • 2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 4 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Dry Roast Coriander
  • 1 tsp Dry Roast Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Dry Roast Poppy seeds
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp Brown Crushed Onion
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Food Colour
  • 1 Coal

Directions:
1. Start by marinating the chicken In a large bowl, combine the chicken pieces, yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala powder, salt, dry roasted coriander, dry roasted cumin seeds, dry roasted poppy seeds, vinegar, lemon juice, brown crushed onion, food color, and 4 tablespoons of oil.
then Mix everything well, ensuring the chicken is coated evenly. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
2. Take a large pot and add marinated chicken pieces and Cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid.
Cook the chicken on low to medium heat then turning the pieces after 10 minutes occasionally to ensure even cooking.
The steam and the juices from the chicken will help it cook. It might take around 20-30 minutes, depending on the size of the chicken pieces.
3. Now heat a piece of coal to a red-hot state to get the smokey flavor, then Place the chicken on top of the bowl. Oil the coal with a few drops, then rapidly cover the pot with the lid. Let the chicken rest for 7 to 10 minutes so it can take up the smoky flavor.
4. Once the chicken bihari tikka is fully cooked and tender, remove it from the pot and serve hot with salad, raita, and lemon.
Recipe In Urdu

Ajza:

  • -1 kg Murgi
  • 4 tbsp Dhai
  • 2 tsp Lahsan Adrak ka paste
  • 4 tsp Pissi Lal Mirchi
  • 1 tsp pissa Garam Masala
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp Namak
  • 1 tsp Bhuna Dhaniya
  • 1 tsp Bhuna Zeera
  • 1 tsp khashkas
  • 2 tbsp Sirka
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp Brown Crushed Piyaz
  • 4 tbsp Tail
  • 1/4 tsp Zardai Rang
  • 1 Koila

Tarikakar:

1. Aik bade bowl mein chicken ke tukray, dahi, adrak lehsan paste, lal mirch powder, garam masala powder, namak, bhuna dhaniya, bhuna zeera, bhuna khashkhash, sirka, lemon juice, katti hui brown pyaaz, zardai rang, aur 4 tablespoons oil ko achi tarah mix karen.
Mixture ko kam se kam 2 ghante ke liye refrigerator mein rakh den.

2. Ab ek bra bartan lain or us mai chicken shamil kr k bartan ko dhak den. Chicken ko dheemi aanch par pakayein, chicken ko 10 minutes k bad palat kar dusri side sy pakayein. Takriban is mein 20-30 minute ka waqt lagy ga, time chicken ke size par depend karta hai.
3. Steam ke liye, koily ko garam karen. Isko aik chota heatproof bowl mein rakh dein aur chicken ke upar rakh dein. Is par thora sa tail daalen aur jaldi se bartan ko dhak dein. Chicken ko 7-10 minutes tak steam dein.
4. Jab chicken bihari tikka mukammal tor par pakk jaye, to use bartan se nikal kr salad, raita aur lemon ke saath garama garam pesh karein.
