Gram Lentil Halwa (chane ki dal ka halwa) is commonly prepared during special occasions and festivals, such as Eid, shab-e-barat, weddings, and other celebrations. It’s a favorite dessert for many and is often shared with friends and family.

Chanay Ki Daal Ka Halwa (Garam Lentil Halwa)
Serve: 5-6

Ingredients:
-1/2 kg lentils (chana daal)
-375 gm Sugar
-375 gm Ghee
-1 kg Milk
-5 Green cardamom
-1 tsp Food colour orange
-Dry fruits for garnish (Almond, Pistachio, Coconut)
Instructions:
First Wash the gram lentils thoroughly and soak them in water for about 4 hours. Then, drain the water.
second In a pot, add the soaked lentils and milk, then Cook on medium heat until the lentils are soft and fully cooked, and the milk is dry.
after this Once the lentils are cooked, mash them slightly using a spoon or masher.
4. take a heavy-bottomed pan or kadahi, Add the cooked lentils to the pan, and sauté them until the lentil’s color changes. It may take around 1 hour.
5. Now add ghee, sugar, food color, and milk. Mix well and continue to stir until it starts to leave the sides of the pan and becomes a rich golden color and The mixture will become thick.
6. Add cardamom powder and mix well. Our delicious gram lentil halwa is ready
7. Dish out the halwa, and garnish it with dry fruits.

Ajza:
-1/2 kg Chana daal
-375 gm Cheeni
-375 gm Ghee
-1 kg Doodh
-5 Hari Elaichi
-1 tsp Zardai Rang
-Dry fruits for garnish (Badam, Pista, Coconut)
Tarikakar:
1. Chanay ki dal ko achi trah sy dho kr 4 ghanty ky lye bhego dein.
2. Eik bartan mai doodh ko boil honey rakh dein, ab is mai chanay ki daal shamil krein. Jb doodh mai boil ajay tou anch ko medium krdein, ab is ko medium anch py pakaein jb tk k daal gal jay aur doodh khushk na ho jay.
3. Daal achi trah sy gal jay tou Phr is chanay ki daal ko piss lein.
4. Ek kadhai lein, us mai pissi hoi daal shamil krein aur is ko halki anch py bhun lein jb tk iska color change nhi hojata, Iski bhunai mai takriban 1 ghanta lagy ga.
5. Ab is mai ghee, cheeni, zardai rang, aur doodh shamil krein. Aur achi trah sy bhony
6. Jb achi trah sy hlwa bhun jay tou is mai elaichi powder shamil kryn aur achi trah sy mix krlyn. Hmara mazedar chane ki daal ka halwa ban k tayar hai.
7. Ab halwa ko dishout kar k dry fruits sy garnish kr k serve krein, shukriya.
